Therapeutic Support Program Intensive (TSP-I) NYSA

These programs are offered at elementary, middle school and high school levels. Programs in this CoSer enable students with a range of academic abilities and severe social/emotional/behavioral challenges to develop the necessary skills to function successfully.

* Counseling Services 1 x 30 individual and 1 x30 group per week

* Consultant Guidance Counselor

 

Direct OT, PT, nursing, speech, counseling (additional) or other related services as per student IEP are billed to districts in addition to tuition costs.

Career Training

At the high school level, students may attend half day programs offered through the Center for Career Services, at no additional charge to the district. This program provides students with transition support, career awareness, and vocational experiences and skills necessary for students to attain the Career Development and Occupational Studies Credential (CDOS) or Career and Technical Education (CTE) certification. Districts are responsible for providing transportation services for students to be able to attend programs located at the Career Service Center in Valhalla. Southern Westchester BOCES can provide transportation services for a fee that would be billed separately to participating districts.
